Amanda Brugel

Tessa Tessa Amanda AmandaPointe Claire lies in that uninhabited part of the city's West Island. People unfamiliar with the term generally believe that it's an isolated island to the west of Montreal In reality, there is a lot more to it. West Island is home to everything from the city of Lachine west. Amanda Brugel was born there in fact, it's true. She only was there for a brief period. Brugel was raised in Courtice close to Oshawa. She was aspiring to be a dancer from the start however due to an explosive growth rate, she surpassed all her dance partners. In an article written by the Toronto Star that she was 6'1" tall and wore heels. As I grew older than my male companions and stopped dancing, I quit. Former dancers often turn towards acting. In the case of Brugel, it was the support of the drama teacher she had at her high school that pushed her to take the step she was looking for. The teacher encouraged her to try out for roles in a school production. The teacher suggested she try out for a role in the school's annual production. In the end, she was given the role of Anne of Green Gables. Her Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theatre Program where she graduated in 2000, with a bachelor's art degree in fine arts.
